Docter Kanna Gnanalingham provides an excellent service and outstanding care. I have had a few steriod injections now due to back pain and I couldn't ask for more. I was diagnosed with a benign pituitary tumor and referred to Mr Gnanalingham. I found him to be caring and keen to understand all my symptoms and concerns. He explained the details of my MRI scan in a reassuring manner which gave me confidence in him, the treatment and the prognosis.

I have been under the care and guidance from Mr Gnanalingham since 2018 due to prolapse at C5/6 level – at no time have I felt a lack of understanding as he has a unique way of dealing with you in a professional but personal manner. Our consultations have been on time, simple to understand as he uses the latest scans to clearly demonstrate what the problem is and he offers a clear diagnosis and is always interested in your own thoughts. When I have had injections, which are an anxious time, both he and his team have a natural relaxed way which ultimately eases your anxiety. He discusses your life with a genuine interest – you can even have a laugh with him. On a separate note, Mr Gnanalingham has the most efficient PA I have ever met – Vaani, you are a credit to the Gnanalingham team as you make people feel relaxed right from the outset.

I have been suffering with my back now for about a year and half and yesterday I recieved my 2nd injection to help with pain, just to be pain free is such a relief. I can’t praise mr gnanalingham and his team enough, to see a consultant that listens and cares is such a relief, his team are all so caring,when you feel a bit nervous they all put your mind at ease. I would recommend mr gnanalingham and his team to anyone suffering with back problems I really do take my hat off to them all, I can’t thank them enough

I recently went into the Alexandra Hospital Manchester for spinal stenosis operation under the care Mr Kanna Gnanalingham. During the time prior to the operation, during the procedure and post operation the attention, consideration and courtesy received was without fault . Most important was the confidence the given. The combination of the Surgeon and his personal assistant Mrs Vaani Navaratnam is above reproach and frankly if you want the best forget the rest !!!
